A fantastic day out at Brunty with the Lightning Preservation Group re-enacting a QRA scramble with Lightning F.6 XS904. Brilliantly done, brilliantly organised. What a magnificent achievement to have kept a pair of Lightnings in running order, rebuilt a genuine Q-shed to house them in, and then have the know-how and experience to safely demonstrate a part of the aircraft's real job when it was protecting UK airspace for just about the entire length of the Cold War. Bravo.
