HAC Spitfire Display, Duxford - 09 Nov 08

Post by Pen Pusher »

As part of Remembrance Sunday at Duxford, The Historic Aircraft Collection Spitfire Mk Vb, BM597, performed a solo display at mid day with Charlie Brown at the controls.

Not much prop blur as I used a higher shutter speed to counteract the buffeting the camera and lens were taking by the blustery wind that was blowing at the time. Because of the wind, extra weight had to be added to the tail of the Spitfire prior to take off and after landing. I think.
