Soggy Duxford Friday 5th Sept

Post by Kokpit »

Was hoping that the weather would hold, with it starting off dry and grey, and hopes did start to rise early on this morning. However, a steady drizzle, which then turned to rain put the kaibosh on it.

The only arrival was the Hawk, at this rate the show will be a little light on the ground, but hopefully things will improve.

A few shots from the soggy proceedings:

Nice shots there chap. Your right, I must have been next to you!

I suspect I will be going tomorrow, but I’ve got that ‘fed up of getting wet at air shows’ feeling now after this season.
If it’s light showers forecasted, I’ll go. If its anything like today, I’ll be giving it a miss.

As I type, the sun comes out!!
