For the last few visits to Duxford I've been experimenting/trying out the in-camera HDR function and that's HDR to enhance detail and not the wacky way out colours that some people think is HDR. Camera takes three images with different exposures, and overlays the correct exposure with the bright areas of an under exposed image and the dark areas of an over exposed image and micro shuffles them so they line up. These are all hand held with high-ish ISO and shutter speeds. Using a tripod would probably have been better.

Re: Duxford in HDR
Very nice Brian,
HDR can be over done to the extreme but I think you've got it just about right!
It's a very subjective genre and equally some shots work and others don't, I like 'em!
Cheers

nicely done, i agree with Tim that some people go over the top doing HDR........
can you remember what the exposure difference is between the images?

As the other two have said, HDR can be over-done and 90% of the time, is over-done! Halos galore! You've nailed it though and for a change I like them. Great angle (first photo) on the B-24 too.

No, it didn't
Re: Duxford in HDR
They look good - particularly the Lib.
Did you try the Blackbird, which seems to be a rather difficult subject as it is so dark against the bright outside behind it?
