During a recent trip to Tucson I paid a visit to the Pima Air & Space Museum and the chance to see the new Spirit of Freedom Hangar and the shop which were being built during my last visit in 2007.
The hangar display is to the same high standard as the other hangar displays and is a credit to those who have put it altogether.
Anyway onto my first post on the new site
Starting with the Spirit of Freedom Hangar
Elsewhere around the museum
Memories of the Upper Heyford F111's will live on with this exhibit
In the restoration compound
Not sure if the NC121T is going to be restored or is a spares source for the one on display or the Australian Super Constellation which was restored to flying condition a few years back.
Thanks for looking.

Interesting collection. Good to see some rarer types come indoors!

Re: Pima Air & Space Museum
the C-121 at the bottom is being stored for the owner after being "kicked out" of one of the scrappers - it's been around forever.
it will probably be scrapped in due time when recoverable spares have been pinched
