G-CVIX Foxy Lady does Low Level

G-CVIX Foxy Lady does Low Level

Postby Ross Forsyth on Fri 10 Oct 2014, 8:34 pm

Well almost 2 months ago myself and 3 other photographers were extremely fortunate to photograph G-CVIX Sea Vixen FAW2 as she was positioned back down to Bournemouth having been stuck in
a hangar at RAF Leuchars for several weeks due to technical issues caused by the aircraft ingesting some FOD while on the ground there prior to her being involved in the flypast for the naming of the new
RN Aircraft Carriers.
Anyway after a shake down flight in the morning and a few nervous moments the sight I could only have dreamt of before it actually happened!
I`m sure some or all of you have probably seen the excellent images by Andy and Ed posted elsewhere, and if not I hope you enjoy my take on it.
