Hello everyone,

Here are some pictures I took last June at Bodø (Norway), about three months before her first flight after restauration

If the SwAFHF are too expensive for them I wouldn't have high hopes of seeing the Starfighter at RIAT any time soon ;)

Nice to see another one flying. Don't suppose they'll send it to Duxford next year...

I think the old & possibly no-longer PC acceptable phrase was.... "If you can't bring the Mountain to Mohammed, then take Mohammed to the Mountain!"
Or roughly translated, "Don't even start to think about seeing this jet anywhere in the UK, save your money from going to RIAT & Duxford & get thy butt over to the near Continent!" where I'm sure you'll see it somewhere in 2017?

Email exchanges with the team have long indicated that they won't venture far from home for a first display season; sounds eminently sensible.

Lovely isn't she?

If I remember correctly their intention was to display first at Skrydstrup in June, but that didn't happen as the first flight was delayed. It'll be interesting to see how far afield they do end up this year. I'll be keeping an eye out for sure.

For all 104 fans, put these on your radar as possibles?
20/21 May- Kjeller Flydagen 17. Skedsmo. Norway.
9 June- Finnish 100th Anniversary Airshow. Helsinki. Finland.??
10/11 June- Sola 2017. Stavanger. Norway.
18/20 Aug- Roskilde Airshow 2017. Denmark?
Too early for confirmations yet.

Apologies! I missed another probable display event on 'Home' turf... Andøya air-show. Norway...23 – 25th June 2017. Double Anniversary of 333 Sqn 75th & 60th Andøya AFB. Gotta be a 104 appearance really?
Also apologies for hi-jacking Chucky's photo-thread, lapsed into getting to see this jet as a result of these great images! :hypno:
