Cosford Harrier and Jaguar event

Postby aknott68 on Fri 21 Apr 2017, 8:58 am

Yesterday I spent a very enjoyable day at the Timeline Events/238 Squadron Harrier and Jaguar photo shoot at RAF Cosford - I can't commend highly enough both the welcome that the RAF team provided us (238 Squadron itself, RAFA team with warming cup of tea, the NAAFI team for a very enjoyable cup of team) and the excellent efforts of the Timeline team to organise such an event.

I've done some very quick edits that I hope will be appreciated by some of you in this forum - comments and criticism welcome.

obviously being held at RAF Cosford it would be remiss if I didn't visit the museum, which had shown some changes since last visit in August last year to represent some of the items being moved out of RAF Hendon, such as the Ju88 and the Me 109 "Black 6" - there appeared to be a lot more space in the War in the Air hangar than when I visited last year, certainly seemed easier to try and get a shot of the Lincoln
