The Fighter Collection had their Gladiator, P-40C & F and Wildcat out on the airfield for engine runs. Their Nimrod, along with the Historic Aircraft Collection Nimrod, went flying in the afternoon. P-51/Miss Velma was due to go flying after I had left. The Apache is a left over from the air show weekend, it's broken, and the MiG is spending the summer at Duxford.

Any reason why the MiG is staying there rather than North Weald as per the last two years?

Until this morning, I didn't know the MiG was staying. I didn't ask why, I'll see if I can find out at the week end.
