Gatwick Aviation Museum - 5 August 2017

My latest trip to this wonderful museum, for their joint Shackleton and Lightning engine runs. The weather was kind, at least while I was there.

I have to apologize to the Museum as I didn't realize they still, obviously exist and are working well.

Very nice Tony, gutted I couldn't make it down for the runs as I've still not managed to see a "live" Shackleton yet! Your last shot of it is lovely though, really shows the size of the aircraft and props!

Mega cheeky plug, but we're organising a nightshoot in September should anyone like to attend! :) https://www.threshold.aero/event/evenin ... ion-museum

Gotta love the Shak - the weirdest noise on a long approach, smashing.
