Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar

Post by amisbk196 »

A few from a visit to the Biggin Hill Heritage Hangar. A bit cramped and and dimly lit for photography but well worth doing.....

Love these, very nicely composed and the b&w works a treat. Lovely stuff.

Very nice pictures, thanks for posting. I still need to get myself down to Biggin Hill for a tour, so many gorgeous machines

It was, currently without an engine. We were free to take pictures, but we were asked, at the owners request, to 'not post any pictures on any forums'. There was also a BBMF spit in there too, but for that one we were asked not to take any pictures at all.

Not really an issue as the owners can do what they wish with their own aircraft, but an interesting policy nonetheless.

I understand the BBMF Spitfire's new paint scheme hasn't been officially unveiled yet - but I have seen plenty of pictures and videos of White 14 on the Heritage Hangar's own Facebook page, and I don't understand why it's presence in that hangar has to be kept a secret. We all know it's there and what it looks like, and it was already booked for airshows this season.
