RAFM Hendon ~ 09Sep17

Post by Pen Pusher »

As I was in central London on Saturday, I had a quick detour north to RAFM Hendon to get some record shots of any changes since my last visit in May. The Grahame-White Hangar is closed until the 15th as they are landscaping and laying cables around there. In the Milestones Hall, the Buccaneer was outside as the Mosquito and P-51 were being dismantled and taken down from their plinths. Apart from the Bleriot and the noisy/pointy Typhoon, all other aircraft have been taken down from the ceiling. The Hoverfly and the silver Tempest are in the main building but couldn't see the Hind anywhere. In the order taken.
