US Navy have its gem in National Naval Aviation Museum in Pensacola Florida. Now they have 2 main building that houses all US Naval Aviation aircrafts from the beginning all the way to modern jets.
They also house the original Cubi Point NAS Officer's mess with all the plaques and memorabilia from US Navy West PAC cruises .
Enjoy!

Some very striking wide views there.
I don't think I agree with phantom6 that its too cramped for photography. No museum is ideal for photography, but I found Pensacola pretty good, for a museum! Its not nearly as crowded as these ultra wide views would have you believe. Some corners are, but there also some great angles to be had.
I have to say, as a fan of naval aviation in general, Pensacola has to be one of the best aviation days out in the World. Watch the Blue Angels rehearse outside, then soak up the tremendous museum. Wonderful. If anything, a bit of a rush in a day if you do catch one of the Blues rehearsal days.
Some efforts from me here that give a slightly different perspective, just to reassure anyone who has a visit planned.

Happy memories - I spent a day there back in 2004 and loved it!
