Popped up to North Weald to catch some of the movements for Clacton air show. Light was variable and for some reason my 24-105L seems to struggle on the 7D2, not as sharp as when the lens is on my 50D Cheers to Dan for the company and Peter T for the cuppa

Re: North Weald 24/8
Nice set Stu. It was great to see a Hurricane back at North Weald, and the Vampire turned out pretty well.

Stu, hate to be negative but think that if the images had the horizons correctly levelled they'd be much more visually appealing. Try using the ruler tool in Photoshop, drawing along a horizontal linear feature (eg the back edge of the dispersal concrete) and then rotate the image as required.

Lovely images. I am up at hanger 11 the end of September for a nightshoot and really looking forward to it

Very constructive feedback! I agree entirely that these are great images that will improve 100% with careful levelling. Naturally there is cross-fall away from the Hangar door, but showing too much here IMO?
