Popped over to Compton Abbas on Bank Holiday Monday for a couple of hours. Never been before although its only an hour up the road. We were pleasantly surprised, great access, beautiful countryside and a busy airfield. And a very nice café Lots of GA activity, but these three caught my eye. Well worth a visit if you are in the area. Thanks for looking.

Following a visit last weekend, it appears the Harvard is back to its previous paint scheme

It's a great little airfield, one of my favourites. That Harvard/Texan is a new one to me.
After a bit of digging, looks like it could be G-DHHF that is based there. Last time I saw her she was finished as an immaculate US Marines example. If so, what were they thinking?! Hopefully it's a temporary finish that can be easily removed?

Is that a re-make of the film, or perhaps a new TV series etc.?
Just checked, looks like it's a new TV mini-series.
