Mixed Bag at Bournemouth

Post by Ledhead27 »

September has come round quicker than you can say "Geronimo", which has meant that I have now returned to Bournemouth to complete both my CPL and ME/IR licences before hopefully moving onto things bigger than the UKAR Party Plane. Being on the flightline rather than in the classroom means that I should be out and about the camera a bit more.

The following were taken over the past week, with some incredibly mixed weather thrown in for good measure. Unfortunately, the location of the BCFT ramp means a lot of these are sadly backlit (the Dubai Air Wing AW139 I'm particularly annoyed over) but alas hope these are of interest to some of you. More excitingly the Conroy CL-44-O Skymonster, a long-term resident of BOH, has been worked on quite regularly recently, with engine runs being conducted at the tail end of week. I'll try and catch some pictures of this rare beast over the next few weeks.

Not specifically a commercial aircraft but couldn't be bothered to make a seperate topic. The Texan II was on its way to Italy after a brief stopover mid-week.

Quite literally hiding out of view at the North of the airfield was this temporary resident King Air, fitted with a large radar fairing underneath.

Good luck with your CPL/ME/IR, I remember that excluding the CPL!, great variable set, thought that 748 was based to replace the SP???
