As is typical for Manchester the sun decided to disappear just as the AN22 was lining up for it's approach to land. Still it was nice to get a few photo's of this rare plane.
Great photos , couldn't make it due work ....... thanks for posting
Are these flights connected to a knackered Thomas Crook aircraft in Cuba perhaps ? engine outbound and engine inbound on return ? just a thought could be totally wrong
Thanks for the comments guys. I thought I'd better post up for people to see and it gives a record for the site. cg_341 I ummd and ahhd as to go or not, knowing it would depart over my house, but I'm glad I did as I didn't get a heads up for departure. Ikarus yeah it's taking the engine to Cuba.
A first for me having only seen a stuffed and mounted one before, and the lighting was terrific too............ dark skies behind, and that livery with the sun on it.
