Lufthansa took the opportunity today to present their new livery by doing a tour of German airports. One port of call was Berlin Tegel. For the occasion the usual name of the aircraft which is "Brandenburg" was replaced with the hashtag "#ExploreTheNew".

As for the new livery, though, oh dear. An example of less is, er, well, less. I saw the A321 in the new livery at LHR last Sunday and was surprised - even in bright sunlight it looked more black than the blue it is supposed to be. Apparently Lufthansa are looking to change the tone slightly to make it look more blue in appearance, especially in dull conditions. But it will still look rather anonymous compared to the distinctive old livery. Ho hum.
