This time last year I toured the Far East, visiting Hong Kong, Beijing Capital, Seoul Incheon, Tokyo Narita and Haneda, and Fukuoka. Here's the first instalment, from Hong Kong's Chep Lap Kok airport.

Although the weather during my visit was disappointing (overcast murk and drizzle for most of the time, the sun only appeared for about an hour), the variety of movements more than made up for this. I headed for Sha Lo Wan, which overlooks the threshold of runway 07R.
