The reason the start was put back from 12:00 was that some tickets/info said 12:00 display start and some 13:00 start (the usual DX time). The only thing fixed was the BBMF at 14:30L. I believe they did put out tannoy announcements but not many seemed to hear; a few people approached the pilots and got the explanation/update from them but were a bit surly with the flyers!

I agree Richard Grace did an excellent job, especially when you can imagine the weight on his shoulders and I personally really enjoyed the T9 solo display, I know he did and he has done a few.

Flying in didn't quite miss the queues unless you paid to go in when you left?!?

The Mustang won't do what a Spitfire does, but it does it over Berlin.

That's an excellent display, especially given that the pilot is only in his mid-20s! The flowing aerobatics belie the fact that this was the pilot's first public display.

Any idea who the pilots were? I'd imagine Charlie Brown in BM597, any idea who the others were?

This was Rod, Charlie and Alister in vic. I am not a proper photographer but put it up here to show them at work. (I know it should have had a slower shutter speed)
