Well if that B-2 flypast took place then WOW :yahoo: :yahoo: what a brilliant way to end well what i would say has to be one of the best UK air show seasons in some time  The weather was a factor again though at least we did have some gorgeous sunshine. The B-2 flypast with the F-22s would be the icing on the cake.

As for the list, it shall probably be put up in full on the Duxford webiste a week before the show, so keep an eye out on the website

Fingers cross for a fantastic finale to what seems to be a very good air show season in the UK (well in my opinion)

Hmmm....no Lanc, or Hurri from BBMF, no Wokka Wokka, no King Air, no Tiffie, no Reds, no Vulcan. Bit disappointed with the lack of not one of those! But I like the list I see!

For the past two years there has only ever been one representative from BBMF - PRXIX in 07 and 08 - and the show is an end of season one so traditionally hasn't had big RAF attendance as it's after the end of the official show season.

List looks at least up to par with the last two years if not actually slightly better.

The list is just as good, if not better than when I went in 2006. Catalina, Mustang, Spitfire, F-16 SABRE SABRE SABRE.... sorry, the excitement is getting too much to handle

In 2006 they had the Patrouille de France (sp?) which more than made up for the lack of Reds, this year I think the Extra 300's will make up for no Reds. The F-16 will make up for no Tiffy but I am sad that I won't be feeling my heart go thump thump with a Wokka Wokka which put on a mighty fine display in 2006.

Sea Hawk in formation with Sea Fury and Spitfire in formation with F16 would be nice.

As of last weekend, Sea Fury and Sabre were both grounded due to fuel related problems.

Disappointing that the Sabre, Sea Fury and one of the Fennecs won't make it. Personally, it looks decent. I haven't seen the Catalina half as much as I'd have liked to this year and 'Drag 'em oot' is always good value. The OFMC pair are top notch. It'll be nice to see the Sea Hawk again. F16 will be a highlight, hopefully (a Heritage Flight with the TF51D would be welcome).

But other than that, there isn't much there that justifies the entrance fee. The list seems to be severely lacking warbirds - doesn't seem right that none of the ARC/Spitfire Ltd aircraft or BM597 will be flying. Maybe I'd feel differently had I not been to 30+ days of airshows this year, but still. Quite what a lone Piper Cub adds to the Duxford programme, I don't know. A duo allows 'one up each end' (of the crowdline...), but a solo will just be lost. Ditto for the Stearman.

I'm sure I'll enjoy it, but at the moment, I'm looking forward to Old Warden more than Duxford!

As much as moaning is good for my soul I'd still pay £25 just to see the F-16. Seeing as work ruined me getting to Shoreham, Waddington AND Eastbourne I need this airshow to stop me from going mad at only attending 4 this year!

Old Wardens price is a bit steep for me as it just doesn't have the type of aircraft to interest my wallet in coming out, but as for value for money, they have a blinding line-up for the price!

Back to Duxford, no Reds, no Vulcan, no Tiffy, no Chinook, no King Air, no Sea Fury, no Sabre, this is panning out to be more disappointing that soggy Sunday at RIAT! If anything else disappears from the line-up I might just cry a little and throw a small tantrum

Okay ,well the king air is still on the list,so idont get that ,and the sea fury/sabre,the airshow is 2 weeks away ,so maybe hope yet?? although i will pay it ,as shows thin on the ground ,i feel the admission price is a total disgrace at duxford, especially with all thats goin on in the country at present. Rant over.

I'm also a little bit disappointed with the flying in general - F-16, Sally B and Cosmic Wind aside, I have to echo Elliott's comments on the warbird front too. Having said that, it'll be my first visit to Duxford for a couple of years, and I'm looking forward to having a wander around and soaking up the atmosphere, as well as watching the flying.
