No, but the best amateur aviation photographers in the country use this site in greater numbers than any other.

How kind of you to notice
I know you think you understood what I said, but I'm not sure you realise that what I said is not what I meant.

That is quite a claim!! There are many terrific photographers, both UK and overseas based, who will not touch this site with a barge pole.

But everyone is entitled to an opinion

I'm sure there are, but what I've seen on the different sites backs up what DanO1978 says. I'm sure he realises his site isn't perfect, but it certainly has more top rate photogs posting than any other UK site I've seen.

Dan, I thought you'd be able to identify with Mancus. After all, all he was after were some good angles with a field of space around him so that his talent could flourish.

I don't think he'd have much choice BUT to use the "naughty field", given his "removal" from the Tank Bank a couple of years back...

I might actually consider going to the field myself then to watch the uproar when someone steps in front of him or a passing tractor kicks up too much dust.

All you freelaoders better hope Mancus never does show up in the 'Naughty Field' - with that space-shuttle-sized lens of his, he'd be certain to block most of your views

I'd not seen those letters before; what a lot of periphrastic 'oblate spheroid male reproductive appendages' in the Anglo Saxon vernacular!

I had the pleasure of standing near this Moongazer, which is what my companion called him,as to see his gear, you would think he was after catching a shot of the Man in the Moon?. I thought at that time someone was going to lamp him. I could agree with a few of his pionts, Ladders, Windbreaks, and of course,my Pal, a certain Photographer, who seems to walk up and down the Tank Bank, getting swore at by all,yet does not take the hint. Just a thought could he be a Mate of Mancus. Pity i trashed the photo of him spoiling a good shot of SallyB.He seems to appear ,just as you take a shot. Any of you come across this bloke, who use the Bank?.
