Would have been nice to see a heritage flypast of the F-16 and the T7 in honour of the Belgian fighter training school, given the Belgian air force's 65th anniversary this year.

2x F-16 at Mildenhall, 2x Tucano and 1x Hawk at Duxford.

A very quite, apart from F-16 display, day at Duxford.

I'd heard that the Hawk display had been cancelled for the weekend. The singleton (19 Sqn -XX158/158) may be on static only.

That would be a shame but fortunately I've enjoyed it two or three times this season.

Latest list shows Meteor T.7 rather than NF.11... correct, or error?

Classic Flight are hoping it will be the T.7, but if it is unable to make it then it will be the NF.

Some sort of jet with a distinct whistling engine note just overflew my house in Northants, didn't get outside in time to get a look at it though...

Good display from T7 Meatbox, pity that the original 3 Sea Furies became just the RNHF one on its own.

And the F-16 surprised everyone with the flares!

My first time today at Duxford and what an enjoyable day it was, a very well organised event with little time to catch your breath. Which really is a refreshing change, highlights for me were the; F16, Spitfire & Frankie, Metoer & Sabre...

Will definately be hoping to get back next year, seems a long way away at the moment though.

Yes, I enjoyed my first visit for ten years, but the issues which kept me away are still there particularly the way aeroplanes are demonstrated so far way that they are simply blob in the viewfinder. I really don't know why the Yak-18A pilot bothered to turn up, but he was just an extreme example.

Never mind, a good show, good weather and an excellent commentary. The film will follow shortly after I've finished editing it.

I am rather puzzled by your comment. I have been going to Duxford to just about every show over many years and the aircraft with the odd exception display within the statutory parametres.

I thought it was a cracking end to the season and the weather, like last year, could hardly have been bettered.

Great day yesterday! Skyraider, Meteor and F-16 were all fantastic- never witnessed so many cheers when Mitch released his first batch of flares! Good to meet a few people too!

Coach Homer and I made it despite the best efforts of First Capital Connect (almost a 3 hour trip!), and had a thoroughly enjoyable day. Have to say the jets ruled - Meteor, F16 and Sabre were all superb, however I enjoyed the C45/C47 combo and some of the lighter types getting a starring role. The way the Korean theme was maxed out showed typical Duxford imagination. Overall a good finish to what has been a distinctly lumpy airshow season...

Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday. The usual relaxed atmosphere that you get with the Autumn show. Really enjoyed the F-16, T7  , OFMC duo, and PK's solo in the MK XIV Spit! Anyone else enjoy the Beaver? I loved it, beautiful machine! Good to meet some new faces, and I look forward to 2012!

Very nice end to the season. A good mix I thought. Anyone notice Mr Grey in Velma get confused and try to land at the western end? Odd because in all the shows I can recall at DX the wind has always dictated an M11 approach and landing! But well done to DX, in the past the autumn show had a real after the lord mayor's show feel, but in the past few years it has really raised its game!
