That doesn't mean that there will be a heritage flight demonstration though as Ed has attended Legends for several years now.

Although if Glacier girl makes it over and the F-22 comes over for RIAT, then it would be a shame if they didn't make the most of it.

Roll on July I say, In intrest does anyone know if they will use UK based Mustangs or bring there own?.
I know when Ed has flown Mustangs here in the past he has normally used The Fighter collections aircraft, I am just curious if this be the case this time.

Can they fly a Mustang from the States to here, or would it run out of fuel?

Several have been flown here, The most recent i can think of is "Miss Velma", They take the route via canada and Greenland etc. Making refueling stop off on the way. This is the way P-38 "Glacier Girl" is planned to come here too.

one of the best pieces of promotional footage I have ever seen for an airshow act, these guys are taking things to the next level. If onlly the Brietling fighters had done something like this at their peak. Roll on the summer

Absolutely fantastic! The 'Bolero III' video that was posted a few months ago was equally brilliant. It'd be great if some UK operators/organisers could utilise this type of promotional video..

I doubt it'd be a possibility due to funds/resources etc, but I'd love to see three Mustangs brought over from the 'States for Legends - if only so we can get Princess Elizabeth back where she belongs for a few days!

Roll on July

That is an effing stunning piece of video!!! I can't stop watching it. Roll on the summer indeed  :yahoo: Also, are they likely to use Stangs over here rather than bring their own?

Cheers, Huw

Sorry, but I disagree. It looks like a Hollywood trailer for a "blockbuster" film which ends up being a total disappointment because they have put all the good bits in the trailer, or a pop music video in which the rapid shot changes disguise the lack of depth of the product. Much like "Top of the Pops" in the seventies and eighties when video effects were used because they were available, and not because they added to the broadcast. All it needs is a voice-over from a "deep-voiced man" sayng "...In a world where no-one else could fly this well...."
nothing is confirmed at a show until its u/c hits the tarmac or it is running in for its display.....

Dont forget people, there are now Mustangs based in Germany as well.

As for Princes Liz, why would an American owned, American Built (and fuselage rebuilt) and American flown aircraft "belong" over here?
