If the Rafale does indeed do a practise display on Friday afternoon, I hope the kids in the local primary will be sent home early to try and avoid the noise of an aircraft being flung about at low level in full afterburner. I don't think they'll be needing that after events earlier in the week.

If said display takes their minds off recent events, and makes them smile just for a few minutes, then I'd say, job done by the Rafale pilot.

First time I've seen one fly. One of my favourite aircraft. Certainly lived up to the hype. Not as loud as the typhoon but then the display was much better. Doesn't seem to lose so much energy and speed in the turns, thus looking far more like a missile everywhere it went. If it's cloudy on Sunday should be even more spectacular!

Does anyone know what times the flightline walk opens up tomorrow and sunday please?
I've had a quick look on these threads but couldn't find anything. I couldn't see anything on the IWM site. Also they used to show a list of participants on the IWM site but no longer?

Just found out the lovely IWM -30% discount on the next airshow pass we received, in lieu of the washout September Show, had to be used before the end of March...............so what a waste of time that was.
If the Rafale sports some smokewinders AND drops some flares..........ALL will be forgiven

Rafale should have 'winders but has never used flares...

Did the Spitfire go tech just now? He was up for a while before coming in to do one pass in which it didn't sound too healthy. He landed straight after.

Depends on what view you want. I tend to enjoy going for center point, but everything's close anyway, you won't struggle with 200-500! Best thing to do is just get to the show early enough (between 07:00-08:00 ideally) and just take a stroll down the showground and find a good spot.
