From the Duxford website:
Capturing the spirit of the era, we will assemble one of the biggest collections of historic aircraft seen in the UK since the Second World War.

Sounds interesting.

Is the Spitfire XIV from Eastern Airways MV268?

Does look like this has the potential for a very good show

Typo I think, it's probably meant to be Spitfire XVI, which would be TD248

I can't help but wish the IWM would try a bit harder with their website and these listings. It would create a better impression if nothing else... and I say this as a Duxford supporter!

There's the XVI/XIV confusion - probably TD248, as mentioned above
Spitfire T9 – Aircraft Restoration Company - PV202 or PT462?
Spitfire I - Commanche Fighters via The Fighter Collection - AR213 or X4650?
Hurricane – Aircraft Restoration Company - R4118?
Mustangs listed as Aircraft Restoration Company - odd.

It's presented like somebody's jotted notes - quite a contrast to the specific and detailed participants list that is put together on the Flying Legends website.

The whole new website is appalling. The formatting is all wrong, nothing lines up, different fonts, different sizes, very chaotic. Looks like it's more suited for viewing on mobile phones, but it also looks terrible when I checked it on mine.
Not sure who was responsible for updating their website, before it was professional, now it looks someone with no website building experience made it in 10 mins.

Just had a look and it's very messy. An awful website.

Some poor photos used to illustrate the list too.

RAF Museum web site is just as bad.

https://www.rafmuseum.org.uk/

I was told it was the new 'Corporate' look, whatever that means, for web sites now.

A big chunk of RAF content has dropped, air refuelling flypast with Voyager and Typhoon, Atlas flypast, Puma also listed but doesn't state if that's a flypast or static? And the 617 Squadron flypast seen at RIAT.

Just received this:

https://www.iwm.org.uk/events/duxford-b ... lying-List

It's an outstanding list of participating aircraft; 16 Spits and five Hurricanes plus three Buchons and, of course, the rest.
Somethin' in it for pretty-much everyone. Wish I could make it...
Cheers,

Sounds amazing. Want to hold off to as near as possible to get tickets due to weather. What are the chances of this one selling out way before then?

Certainly is a great line-up, though i'm not looking forward to the crowds - or getting out at the end...

I note that every aircraft is currently or formerly operated by the RAF, except for the Yak-3... is there a tenuous connection here or is it just there on merit as being an interesting aircraft?
