Laffans plain car park??

Does anyone know if its still possible to park up this end (over the old pontoon bridge) particularly on trade days? I'm assuming you still get a shuttle bus too?

Hi yes this is 'I' gate car park and is normally the quietest. Just beware that you can not turn right into, or out of this car park from the main road and over the bridge. A few shows ago you could just drive in without a ticket and watch the show on trade days for free but they stopped that!

Thanks for that. In the meantime I've also had an email from Farnbro' who said its now called car park 7 and the shuttle bus takes you back to gate B, which is where everyone else goes in anyway... So a bit pointless really...... bring back the old days.... Not sure whether the same procedure operates on public days tho'.

I believe the problem is that as 90% of visitors on the Trade Days make first for the Halls, they only have entrance checks at the main entrances at that end of the airfield and only open the entrance gates at the Laffans Plain end on the public days, though that may also apply on the Friday when there are far more people coming in compared to Monday to Thursday.
