I'm heading down tomorrow, with the loss of the F35 and now possibly the P8 flying display, this is looking like the biggest waste of £46 I've ever spent on an airshow!
Very disappointing...

Cheers, I must say I was looking forward to the P-8, rather frustrating that Boeing couldn't keep the 789 at the Airshow for another two displays!

The P-8 was rolled into a hangar in the morning and then rolled out late afternoon with no display

Connie flew

787-900 departed back to the states about 1030-1130 (not quite sure on exact time but was a bit before the show)

Oh yes, and the sun shone gloriously with no rain after the gates opened - looks like the weather forecast was way off!

Same just hope the Harrier, and P-8 display can't wait to finally see the PR9 display.

I thought it was the Rolls Royce Mk XIX displaying?

On Friday it was "SM520" that was flying. Don't know about today. I did hear about the Rolls Spit going tech, but my brain is frazzled, and I cannot remember where I heard that (went to Waddo and RIAT, so everything is a blur).

Stuff the tarted-up Boring 737 , that Sea Fury was a proper display ( albeit spoilt by PlanesTV's poor camera-work & their needless cutting away to watch XH558 being parked-up  )

Great time had at Farnborough, was lucky to have trade tickets which saved a few quid off the entrance price, highlights for me -
Learning about Gate I for parking on Friday, great to park on the airfield again.
Sunday - excellent organisation by the bus people , getting people to and from the Station, hardly waited at all there or back.
Sunday flying display - Meteor, Vampire, Harrier, Vulcan, Canberra, Constellation, was like the good old days again !

Well done Fboro, had a great time.

Sorry, but I just have to comment on this.
I've been a huge critic of the Vulcan display over the last 12 months since it bored the pants off everyone at RIAT 2013.
I was at Farnborough today and it was possibly the finest, loudest, most dynamic display I've seen the Vulcan perform since restoration!

Hate to drag out the "you had to be there" cliché, but seriously, I guess you had to be there!

I thought the P8 was rather tame, compared with the Nimrods of old. I have seen Ryanair 737s flown with more punch than the P8

Ok I have to challenge this piece of nonsense " were you actually there P8 display was disant and slow - its a new aircraft for goodness sake
Vulcan wasnt much better but its a sixty year old design - not a fair comparison at all
Ps did the rowd stand up for the vulan - yes = they diddnt even look up at the P8

Please give an fair review

I wasnt at the show itself but watched a good bit on live streaming, thought there was some decent aircraft entertainment to be honest....
Superbug did a cracking display today...looked on a par with Ric Travens performance which I saw at Farnborough 2006 (only my opinion of course  )
