I enjoyed their display when I first saw them at Cosford in 2008. Didn't think I would but I was pleasantly suprised

I adore the WWI team. The full on 9/10-ship routine is just wonderful. Sure, they're replicas, but that's beside the point. They put on a sky filling, entertaining and, at times, thought provoking routine. The Biggin commentary team did a good job at providing some historical context to the display, rather than just describing what the aircraft were doing. Airshows should have play-by-play and colour commentators...

Anyway, they excel at medium-to-small sized venues (though I thought they were perfect at Biggin and fully deserved the Best Team award), making Cosford an ideal location for the full routine.

I'm not sure if that's a Sean Maffet-ism or a Bernard Chabbert-after-5-glasses-of-wine-at-Legends-ism.
