Whilst I appreciate that many want fast jets at the show, i think it would be great to have more aircraft that could operate from Cosford itself, for example more Helicopter action, a couple of USAF Ospreys I think would be stunning! A display from the DHFS at RAF Shawbury would also be great for local interest.

I'm quite surprised they've never been able to get the Dutch Apache.

Yeah its looking very good think just some fast jet action needed hopefully the Dutch F16 will be back. Also have to agree with you on the addition of the Turbulent Team not my cup of tea at all and i feel not suited for an event of this size if your not right at the front you see nothing.

The Turbulent Team are perfectly suited to Cosford with it's short display line.
Also - what other aircraft do you know that are cleared to display down to 3 feet?

Not my cup of tea either - but when that rain rolls in - you'll see these chaps doing their Battle of Britain style scramble to get airborne - to keep you entertained when others can't!

Nobody mentioned under appreciating the Turbulent's enthusiasm to get airborne, even in the most difficult of conditions - I can tell you that I've been highly appreciative in the past, as have many others on this board.

The problem - which has already been stated - is the difficultly to view them, unless you're right down at the front of the display line. I don't think you can class the display line at Cosford short - small compared to other venues? Yes.

Team Merlin should be in attendance, providing they're not required elsewhere.

So with less than 60 days what else can we expect to see at the show I would really like to see team viper which could still happen as there is nothing else booked for that weekend i would also love to see the Aerostars back but looks like they booked elsewhere for the Saturday so might be asking a bit much to make Cosford for the Sunday. Maybe this new team ov the av8ers could be booked and also a fast jet from overseas is a must now there is no Typhoon display. What would you guys and girls like to see added?

Great news on the Tornado GR4 demo but I still think at least one fast jet solo would make the show even better. For as long as I have been going to the show I have never known a show without at least one fast jet solo unless anyone else knows any different.

So its good news with some interesting classic Jet action added to the Cosford Show 2011 with the Hawker Hunter (Miss Demeanour), Gloster Meteor and DH Venom, and not the GR4 Role Demo confirmed, its shaping up to be a nice show.
Well Done Team Cosford, keep up the good work.

The Turbulent Display Team are there to add some fun and frolics to the display. Not everybody likes fast jets doing the same old thing. Another thing worth remembering is that they are probably the worlds oldest formation display team still using the same aircraft type since 1959!!
