Not necessarily good news given the way RIAT has gradually slid over the years from being "The Best Airshow in the World" to being a Sunday Market with X Factor rejects with an airshow tacked on the side.

Looks like there will be no RAF Hawk display this year at Cosford as it's in Norway that weekend.

Fair enough the Classic Jets are, first time seeing the Gnat Display Team. But still not really an expiring start to the line-up. Slightly unfair to compare Cosford to Waddington but as they're both RAF shows they should both be attracting decent stuff, we'll wait and see how the line-up develops.

Nice to see Cosford have finally got some items listed. I rated the Aerostars pretty highly the last time I saw them at Cosford, not seen the Gnat pair or vintage pair, can't wait to get a load of that lot.

The Great War Display Team are booked for the flying display at Cosford, a display I always enjoy and Cosford seems to be well suited to a display like this.

The RAF participation also includes a Sea King Role Demo from C Flight at Valley. The static line up remains fluid (hopefully not as liquid as last year) but an Army Bell 212 recently returned from Belize is a welcome addition to the usual suspects. The theme is the Central Flying School centenary so given the limited static parking, one can reasonably a line up of small training aircraft. A camouflaged Tiger Moth would be nice but is not rumoured at this time.

The RN Black Cats are displaying; JHC and the AAC are not!

Can we expect any international participation?
