Looks pretty promising considering the loss of the RAF Role Demo and if the Harrier is included it would be a tremendous boost to the show.
However it would be great to have a flying Merlin (I have yet to see one fly) and participants from Shawbury namely Griffin, Squirrel and an A109. A visit from a C-17 would also be awesome

well the vulcan looks like she is going to make it as £926.909 (thursday 5th march at 10:59pm) and need £1 milliion + by friday so the vulcan should be back for another year . Also the harrier should be on the airshow scene this year with the The aircraft and pilot supplied from 20(R) Squadron at RAF Wittering.

Unless you know something I don't, Harrier attendance for Cosford is not (or at least wasn't as of Tuesday night) by any means confirmed for Cosford and discussions are still ongoing.

I would hate to get too many people's hopes up while we don't know if it's definite, or at least as definite as it can be without actually having arrived for the show!

Indeed - I didn't want to post too much as I was at least aware that this was still under discussion. I believe operational business precludes the Harrier attending Cosford which is a shame, but also perfectly understandable.

Thats crazy - one venue that screams for a Harrier demo and its not going there.

I am amazed that the Harrier will not be at Cosford, I agree this show is screaming out for the likes of a harrier! There really are not too many jet aircraft that are able to operate from Cosford and they have missed out on the best one possible!

a real sheme the harrier not attending but easy come easy go i guess lol. does anyone here think that cosford will come up with a star item this year to replace it? i mean no role demo now no harrier surely cosford need one major overseas display team or something big to help it stand out a little.
