Hi all,
Shall be taking the family to the show on Sunday, first time and really looking forward to it especially after reading how excited regular attendees are over the line up... I got into DSLR photography at Christmas and a couple of months ago bought my Canon 55-250 STM lens... I just wondered if this will have enough reach for the air show? It will be my first time photographing at an air show so any tips would be welcome that I may not know of ( I have a Canon 700D ). Is the runway / display close enough to the crowdline to get decent shots with my lens?
Thanks for any advice / help.
55-250 STM enough ?
Re: 55-250 STM enough ?
You will be fine for runway stuff and anything flying past the runway, but anything high up or coming towards the airfield will be a dot at 250mm I would imagine.
