Overcast skies will probsbly be better suited to Cosfotd anyway, if its clear skys then your shooting into the sun fot the majority of the day.

Take some wellies and an umbrella, been very heavy rain in the central area all week, more Thunderstorms and heavy rain for the rest of the week and weekend.

Weekend looks to be dry but the ground will have absorbed a lot of water by Sunday so wellies/boots are a must.

Indeed. Perhaps more worryingly is the forecast for tonight and tomorrow (although weakening) - visiting the off base car park earlier and there are areas under water. Presumably, they're aware of this...

Think they may have been a bit abrupt with their sunshine Tweet.

What are the car parks like today, if off base parking was under water yesterday how are they after todays downpours.

Very wet. Rained all week and more to come tomorrow. Car parks should hold, but as soon as the cars roll in it will be very interesting...

No need for scaremongering, the grass is holding up well. And we have trackway deployed in areas that have intense vehicle use too.

Scaremongering it's not Peter, just real concern for some.
ive been to a few wet shows in the past at Cosford and know it can get messy for car on that grass.

Will the entrance off the Holyhead Road, a464 be open this year. Deliberately came in this way last year, were parked right behind the flight line , did arrive about 7.30am thou.

Going to be fun with thousands of cars going over that or 55.000 feet walking all over it. Still some more rain due.

PS:- You won't of course be parking or walking on that dry bit though!...you can be 'insured' of that...probably?
