Ok, so if its a wishlist then id love for the yanks to send the Valkyrie over and we can flank it with a pair of a-10s
But in all seriousness it is looking a very decent show... and I reckon P.R. has another ace up his sleeve yet too....

Timings for arrivals and practice displays will not be published. But I will save you a wasted trip; the airfield is closed on Thursday.

Just to prevent any false hopes, I will say that at this stage if we do get their support approved, it will likely be static participation only. And we are still working hard with a number of operators to try and get those last few additions to the line-up to make the show as good as it can be.
It's now at the stage where we have to start saying our prayers to the weather gods each evening...
Cheers,

Praying for blue skies, would like to see a Irish PC-9 again on static. Tbh anything else that Is confirmed from now on is a bonus for me .,
Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2017 - [Main Topic]
Tbf Cosford is definately due some luck with the weather.
Re: RAF Cosford Air Show 2017 - [Main Topic]
Cosford is due some nice weather and hopefully no cancellations which could revert the lineup back to mediocre if certain aircraft cancel.Fingers crossed as the show looks a lot better than it did a few weeks ago.

Not expecting much more to be added now. The flying looks pretty full apart from the odd flypast maybe. Shows looking good this year, Italian Tornado and Rich Goodwins Pitts are the displays I'm looking forward to the most.

Christ it's only 12:30, they've come much later on occasion

Update delayed until later this week, out of respect for those effected by last night's events in Manchester.

You shouldn't even have to post this - surely people aren't that stupid?

Some comments on this forum never cease to surprise me; why make this statement? - its a perfectly reasonable update notification from PeterR

Don't worry about it mate, you obviously didn't mean any disrespect by it, people react differently in situations like this, I did check myself if there was an update at 12 but completely understand the reasonings on why there isn't.

Indeed - I wasn't picking anyone out individually, so apologies if Lucas feels that way. But the community being more sensitive at times (like this) would be a welcome sight - requests for aircraft updates should be way down the list of priorities today, if only in the short-term. Peter was right in keeping us informed, but I don't think he needs to make it obvious as to why - there are more appropriate channels to find out what's going on and with that knowledge, you wouldn't expect updates today.

Can't wait for the airshow now! Also looking forward to the arrivals on the Friday too! Going to be a brilliant show, let's hope the weather stays dry and sunny!
