I’m in the process of compiling the 'Air' element of the RIAT 2013 Participants Guide and as such I'm trawling for images that, potentially, can be used to illustrate and 'sell' the RIAT 2013 operational theme, SkyGuardian.
“SkyGuardian incorporates a myriad of operational requirements pivotal to the provision of national and international security and key to the prevention of varied risk situations. Aviation allows such diverse roles as air defence, search & rescue, maritime patrol and enforcement of maritime laws, fishery protection, pollution control, border patrol, surveillance, police, anti-terrorism, ambulance and fire (inc. water-bombing) and humanitarian relief to be executed swiftly and efficiently with maximum effect to those in need of protection and support."
Images do not have to have been taken at past RIAT's and if you have images of aircraft that you think fit the theme and are willing to allow their use in the guide (I can only offer due credit I’m afraid) then please post them here and I can consider them and come back to those posting images we'd like to include in the guide.
