Wishlist for 2012

And despite all this exciting exotic stuff two types I'd love to see are our very own, a Tristar and VC-10 on the flying programme. Two old ladies with little time left and I'm at a point now where I want to see them as much as possible before they go, especially as they're rare birds on the circuit.

+1 especially VC-10, has never been common at airshows afaik and looks lovely!

It was up to 1988, and a brilliant flying display item it was too, ending with the big spiral climb out. But we certainly need Brize Norton's finest for its swansong.

With current events an Iranian F14 could be a possibility...admitedly it would probably be as a pile of parts in a skip

Fingers crossed on that one....never seen the display before, but what I saw of the practice in 08, it is EPIC.

If their schedule is out couldn't that hint that it may have been finalised before being made public?? Obviously there is always a chance they may venture over and the schedule will still be added to...

I'd love to see a Hercules demo again, cant remember what year it was the last time I saw a full display

I think '07 was the last year there was a full Herc display. After that it was part of the Role Demo (until that was cancelled after two years).

Considering the Skylift theme, and the fact that it's a Farnborough year I would say that it's almost a certainty, at the very least on static anyway I would hope.
