Nice shot. But it's not an airplane I can get excited over, it leaves me cold I'm afraid.

I'm not a fan of every airplane. Just a certain few I can get excited about, but the B2 does nowt for me.

I agree it was awesome. I've only been going to airshows (in my adult life anyway) since Farnborough 2008 and the B2 Spirit is one of the things that i knew i would drool over if i ever got to see it, but is also in the category of aviation things that i never thought i would see....and now i have.

We all have our favourites or preferences and the B2 Spirit does it for me!

I missed out on any decent pics, I was parked on green car park and left the pics until the evening whilst the car parks emptied, but around half 7 armed police moved everyone along and took it out of the static. Why not wait just a little longer until the show ground closes?

On the other hand moving early can have some real benefits.

As I was leaving the Red exit at about 6:30pm the Huey and the Cayuse were leaving and decided to do a very low level hovering show before flying off - absolutely awsesome. Never seen a huey flying in the flesh - it made my day.

Cheers,

Not going back to States though, will be stopping over somewhere else and flying back Tuesday according to the pilot.

Apart from its wingspan, I'm surprised how small it is! About as long as an F-16 and lower than a Typhoon!
