They were superb, very professional and clearly excellently thought about display! They bossed the Display Teams at RIAT and I have no doubt they did at Waddo as well! I sincerely hope they return in the near future!

Very easily the act of the season for me

very well done to all the pilots for the 2 exceptional performances that I had the pleasure of seeing  Saturday at RIAT, they arrived directly over the top of us from behind, highlight of this and the last few seasons for me!

And very well done to all on the ground for making it happen

Please don't stay away for too long, I could watch your show over and over again! You all deserved the awards and appreciation you all received, thank you

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting any of the pilots, but I wish I had, had the chance to get the signatures and congratulate them all personally

I know this is the RIAT thread, but to quote my Dad, after seeing them at Waddo, "The Koreans were worth the 3 hour drive and entrance fee alone". Thoughts which I completely agree with!

What a great team, tight formations, exciting display and a great noisy little jet!

Bravo, what great ambassadors they are for their country! Come back soon

I was surprised to see they did on Sunday also - I thought aircraft were banned from overflying crowds at air shows? The Red Arrows used to arrive like that until they were stopped.

The Reds, along with BBMF still perform their entrance from crowd-rear. I believe there are very few acts on the UK circuit permitted to do this, and it must be a flat pass only, no aeros etc.

I was suprised to see them given allowance to approach crowd rear both at Waddo and RIAT. Some UK displays have been given permission to approach crowd rear -add Blades to that list, but didn't realise foreigners could, especially as the Thunderbirds were'nt allowed to.....

Some interesting shots of the Black Eagles being disassembled in Korea and re-assembled at Leeming can be found at the KAI website: http://www.koreaaero.com/pr_center/cpr_ ... 982&bbs=10

FlyingMachinesTV wrote:It was a fantastic display. We got to meet the team and interview the leader for the DVD, they were incredibly helpful and seemed to be having a great time. Best bit was that each aircraft carried 3 or 4 minicams and they gave us all the footage.

Has this been uploaded anywhere? I would love to see it (the minicam footage that is)
