4 Romanian AF ones were at RIAT in 2005.

They're all more than welcome though

After seeing those new photos from down under in the airshow section, and as many have metioned before. I would love to see the f111s over as they're days are limited. A long shot i know but i have never seen this beauty. Come on RIAT pull out the stops and make it happen
Cheers

Would love to see some aircraft that haven't got much more time left..

Greek Corsair
Hungarian MiG-29 (unless they're going before July?!)
Hungarian L-39
Polish Su-22

And then some stuff that'd just be nice to see..

Spanish AV-8B
Italian AV-8B
French & Italian choppers, used to be regulars a few years back.
Something from the Baltic states again
Orions from Europe - Norway, Germany, Portugal, Spain.

A couple of Mike Beachy-Head's collection would do me - the T5 in particular, but the Buccaneer would be a nice accompanyment

one can only hope that the Australians will send a couple of F-111's, as they have been regular visitors to IAT over the years, a couple of F-111's for old times sake would be very nice, accompanied by a C-130 or P-3 perhaps.

F-111 would be a real delicacy, but I think it is more likely to get a Russian Knights display than F-111 from Australia!

Why all hoping for aicraft from so far away, the UK itself provides a lot of interesting aircraft. Only bummer on that is , I think, that it is to hard to get it done. What about a Raspberrry Ripple Mil as microlight says. A Chinook HC3 , the raspberry Ripple SeaKing and Lynx and Gazelle. A new Nimrod or MR.1 . Just normal things you don't see every day.

Yes just like the old days...a lot of that blue/red/white stuff :yahoo:

And from europe some small planes (trainers) you never see, like:
Greece: T-2 Buckeye
Norway: MFI-15 Safari
Spain; Beech F33C Bonanza, C90 KingAir or SF-5M Freedom Fighter
France: MS893 Rallye, CAP-10B

chances on Greek A-7 or Hungarian Mig-29 in 2009???

I thought the HuAF MiG-29's are due for retirement early '09? Hopefully I'm wrong though!

At the moment it's planned for the end of 2009 (same for the L-39).

Moroccan AF Marche Verte please!! They are a team that I've always wanted to see! And although they frequently display in France, their last UK display seems to be either RIAT, Mildenhall or Lowestoft in the Mid/late 1990s.

C'mon RIAT!! Now that would be an interesting team to get!
