Need help to get to FRIAT stand on departures day

Hi everyone,

Newbie here. It will be my very first RIAT (bought the Mach 2 ticket), travelling from Singapore this evening.
I will be going to RIAT from Swindon on FRI-SUN by bus.
My question is whether is it possible to use public transport to reach Fairford (not the shuttle which obviously is not running) for departures day? I posted the same question to the organisers but did not get a reply.

If it is not possible, would anyone be kind enough to offer a lift from Swindon on Monday please.
I would be most happy to share the transport cost.

Hi Everyone;

My first ever post!

I need some help

Only tickets for the Saturday for myself and 3 kids I could get hold of were the Swindon shuttle bus.
I am not however going to take the bus.
I will however traveling up with a friend who will be going by car to the blue entrance.
I have been told though that I wont be allowed in the blue entrance with my yellow entrance shuttle bus and entrance ticket.
This means dragging my kids several miles to the yellow entrance, not good.

Stupid rules I know.

If I turn up at the blue entrance and plead with them do you reckon they might let us in?

It's possible I could get you there Kwek, but not back to Swindon after as I'll be heading straight back up the other way once we're done.

If a lift up there is all you need though, I'm happy to help you out.

I need to get to get back to Swindon to catch a train. So I will not proceed to Fairford without a return .
