Less than 4 months to go, time to worry about the W word

Doesn't look like a washout, if this doesn't change too much:

Day Temp Feels Rain Cloud Dir Speed RH Weather
Fri 14 Jul 19 °c 19 °c 0.0 mm 7 % [Wind from SE (131°)] 7 mph 77 % [Fair]

Bollards !!

Blue plastic ones, that is......
Like the portaloos, will there be enough of them, or will DBH have to lower their standards by employing the boring common-or-garden orange ones ?

Oh, and yes, there'll definitely be weather.

Apparently the Chinese have a saying ( they would have ) " There's no such thing as bad weather, only different types of good weather " this from a nation that still thinks it's a good idea to use chopsticks to eat rice ! silly sods !

"No such thing as bad weather, only inappropriate clothing"

That's the version of the saying which I am familiar with.

Not sure the eye roll is necessary. You did call a nation of people silly sods for the way they eat, a way which is part of their culture and identity.

Being British ,I have lived most of my life being stereotyped to the point of racism by many other nationalities ,I can live with it as I'm sure the Chinese can,I really don't think they will get upset if I consider one of their customs a bit strange ,also if the Mods feel my post is racist it's up to them to remove it and I will be willing accept their opinion and not a self appointed referee !

The yawn is a necessary as the eye roll but yes, that's what the pink wafer essentially means. :-)

Well I was wrong anyway ,the quote was by John Ruskin "Sunshine is delicious, rain is refreshing, wind braces us up, snow is exhilarating; there is really no such thing as bad weather, only different kinds of good weather ". and not our wise and and knowledgeable Oriental friends ! the other was coined by esteemed fell walker Alfred Wainwright apparently !

Schoolboy error there Aceyboy... Humour is not allowed on this forum unless it is of the 5 pages of double entendres type or possibly the injoke in which you couldonly realise the absolute infinite boundaries of the aforementioned jokes depth if you were actually there. I mean, wafers get me every time. Most hilarious biscuits ever.
Btw I find your moniker personally offensive to those that didn't achieve the requisite number of confirmed victories to qualify.

And some wonder why numbers are dropping on this forum.

Back to the weather, I am sorry to say due to having pleasant weather this early in the year it will down throw it down with rain all summer. Yes indeed I can see the tractors towing people off the campsites and hear the squelching of the mud. Nothing quite like a wet RIAT.
