I don't believe we were discussing the likelihood of a Do-17 attack though were we?

The risk is extremely small - as others have pointed out, you're more likely to be killed by your pet hamster than a terrorist* - but the risk is not a 'totally insignificant' one, and there will undoubtedly be more and tighter security at Fairford this summer, some of which we'll see and will effect us and some I expect we won't. Any huge gathering of people is going to be subject to this, and rightly so.

I don't know about Blue or Green, but Red and Yellow entrances (and the queues) are inside the base fences, so the terrorists have to deal with that before reaching human people.
