As I've posted before -- unlikely...it'll probably be Number One Son, and/or possibly one of the new batch.
Indeed. There's a flypast up the mall on the Tuesday so I don't expect the queen to be at RIAT this time. Wouldn't make sense to do the FP twice for her.

As I've hinted at earlier, most London flypasts (bar BBMF, Reds, choppers) disperse at Brize so I'm just wondering if visitors on the Tuesday may be treated to a preview of the Fridays event (assuming they'll be the same)??
Thanks for the replies guys. When would you expect more details of the flypast to start to filter thru ?
Apologies if I ask too much ...that's Anxiety making me undecided as usual. So bear with me please. Hopefully some of the replies can help others as well .
What do we reckon for today? I would personally like to see the Danish F-16, its display at Yeovilton last year is one of the most aggressive i've seen!

My spidey senses gave me a feeling. Thats a great addition, wonder if its the same display pilot as last year? can't believe its been 7 years since we've seen it!

Not that bizarre when you consider its only ever displayed at IAT once.
"We are delighted to confirm that the F-35 Heritage Flight Team will take part in the Air Tattoo flying display. This special 'then and now' formation will be the American P-51D Mustang, teamed up with the Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II."
"You’ll see a little bit more of the F-35 Lightning II this airshow season! We took a peek in the 2018 Air Combat Command support manual, and noticed that the F-35 Heritage Flight team is approved for a three-pass “mini-demo” at its performances this year!"

Is it me or is there a sort of feeling at moment of a lack of wow factor in this supposedly “huge” 100 event show,I know it’s great to see the regular Air Arms on board early but it’s not as if they are sending anything out of the ordinary or more of it ,you know what I mean ,it’s probably the turn of the likes of Aguila ,Swiss Hornet, ect ect to come anyhow, most of it can be seen the week before at Yeovilton aswell, which isn’t a bad thing, maybe they could oblige with the French Navy participants? The only gold star at the moment is the Canadians who have really gone all out with participation. Anyway I guess it’s onky March and so plenty of time to confirm other things .

Exactly, and it's onky just March too.

It's a Farnborough year so we could have four F-35 displays. The RAF B display; an RAF B 100 formation flypast; the USAF A heritage flypast and a LM tp full display.
