Quick scanner question

Post by westhamfan84 »

I have a uniden scanner that only picks up the civil frequencies not the higher military ones. Is it worth bringing will I pick up a lot at Fairford like I do at say Cosford or as it's more military is it not worth taking Thanks all in advance.

Fairford Tower 124.8, and display freqs are VHF too - you'll be fine :)

A rough scattering of numbers you might find useful at Fairford; 119.00 MATZ, 119.150? 121.175? 121.800? 123.550- Brize App, 124.275- Brize App, 124.800 -Fairford, 127.250 - Brize App, 129.700? 130.500? 130.675? 133.750? & 134.55? Don't know what order these vhf freqs will be in, they seem to chop and change around, but they're the regular numbers that show up each year. Hope that helps
