Good to see you've had your chill out pills...

As for the wishlist, some kind of NATO anniversary flypast would be cool, a la the ones they put together for the summits.

All of the above please and throw in a twilight airshow too. Free entry would be a bonus.

Sorry, the Osprey will be pulled again due to a Red Arrow departure or some such...

I believe the terminology you're looking for is rejected or turned away, cast off as excess as there was a far more important departure scheduled, the USAF certainly didn't "pull it".

Whatever Trevor,

I'm perfectly happy with my terminology. So your belief is incorrect. Everybody but you knew what I meant, whether its, pulled, scrubbed, cast off, blown off it's all the same. So I'm sorry you misunderstood this.

The Osprey was there on the fringes of the airfield and wasn't allowed to run in. I dont believe I said who pulled it did I ?

No..no I did not

The last thing anyone wants to see (smell, or hear) is a blowing off Osprey thank you very much.

As for the wishlist, I'd really love to see a Har...oh, wait

How about something North Africa? Not too far to travel and some super cool aircraft - Moroccan Mirage F1 perhaps? Tunisian F-5? Algerian Su-24?

Some great suggestions there Mr Cjs
I'd second all of the above, with one additional.

That certain veterans of this site actually post something credible and worthwile rather than the constant stream of witless nonsense and pre-pubescent correcting of others.
Yeah you know who I'm talking about.
Never has the addage quality over quantity been more apt.

Anything from India would be amazing... Something 'Soviet' in origin would be especially nice.

I am just hoping the Romanians might agree to come again after last year's tragedy. A MiG-21 in the flying display would really be something to remember!

I saw the Polish Mig 29 display at Cosford last summer, cracking display! would love to see that again, this time at RIAT along with a Mig 21 from Romania.

The Japanese KC767 was over in 2017. They were pretty nice guys. Opened up the aircraft for us to walk around inside.

The drums though... after a while it was too much lol.

Phantoms would be fantastic!

I kept trying to get out to see the drummers, but was always busy with planes instead.

But that take off in the gloom on Saturday 2017 was awesome!! Some fantastic shots of that wonderfully imaginative livery against the grey.

After RIAT week last summer, I'm never complaining about a cloudy RIAT again! Other than the spot of rain on the Friday, it was roasting. Made for a long, hot week.

I wish people would post things they wish for in the wish list topic instead of clogging up the main RIAT topic with their wish lists......
