Wow you have to be amazed at their confidence that they can display in front of paying customers in just 10 days time!
Over here leaving aside technical issues you couldn't guarantee to get the paperwork sorted in time.....
Are you coming quietly or will I need the earplugs?

Fantastic to see it running  :yahoo: First Mosquito running since the awful day in '96 we lost 299 (don't think 712 has run since '89?). Now does anyone know if it will hang around for testing for a month or two before it's shipped to the US?
Here's a similiar vid in HD

What a sound, can't wait to hear both up and running.

It will most likely be at 'Warbirds Over the Beach' next May - this is the owners in-house airshow - their equivelant of Legends.

One of the most beautiful sounding and looking aircraft to ever fly. It's been a long while since RR299 was tragically lost, hopefully we will get to see this one grace our skies one day. Fantastic achievement by everyone involved, looks superb.

Can't say I have followed a restoration as much as this one. Mostly due to my childhood memoreies of 299 at Broughton, close to my home and also getting an all too brief chance to work on her as an apprentice. My first ever photgraph with my shiny new Pentax K1000 was of the Broughton Mossie. So without further ado. Put your head phones on and turn it up.
