Another reason to go. An unfortunate "last chance to see" item. I do hope that rule will be reviewed and lifted.

Also, the special schemed 125 is a very nice touch.

I can't remember the last time a special scheme was applied to a 32sqn 125, IIRC Silver Jubilee was the last time, a large royal crest, possibly. I am welcome to be corrected.....

That will be very sad, all the more reason to make the best of this event, and keep our fingers crossed that the rule can be re-thought or reversed.

Thanks Brian, I'll bear that in mind when I'm packing my kit. I better try and find my tripod!

BTW, what are the rules with single engine aircraft over built up areas? I always thought the RAF were exempt from this rule? (Or did I just make that up? )

Yep, you did. That's why you never see a Harrier over London these days.

(And before anyone says it, the Reds are treated as a single nine-engined aircraft.)

Sadly no bacon butties on this event! The company with the Coffee Shop franchise has gone bust and the coffe shop closed. Hopefully it will re-open soon!

Ok, I'm coming!

Not wanting to jinx the event but the thing that begins with W looks good for tomorrow evening. Oh and make sure the guardian of the light switch doesn't go home with the keys.

Sadly waaaay to far up north to get to these. Hopefully getting based down south in the future will coincide with further successful photoshoots I can attend. Look forward to seeing some Northolt photo threads over the coming days.

Well, even without the Bacon Butties its looking like another good event, hopefully all of the props and rotary will have a go at turning their blades for us humble photographers.

Well done Phil, look forward to seeing you in a few hours.

Looking forward to meeting some of you later!

Another successful Nightshoot in the bag, thanks Phil, Lee, Jez and co! Always nice to get shots with rotors/props turning, the 19 Sqn anniversary Hawks were welcome, and the Jetstream made a perfect shot from the top of the steps

Just got home from another excellent night shoot and well attended with over 100 having booked. Alas the poor Dominie went sick and the King Air forgot it was supposed to be attending. The Met chopper timed it nicely to arrived just as we all poured out onto the airfield.

Was it just me or was it cold out there. Everyone seemed to be dressed for winter and I'm wandering around with shirt sleeves rolled up.

Nice work again Phil! The Navy Wetdream and the Met Police were all worth while and the 50D played ball, very happy with the evening's efforts.

Thanks for the kind words Guys! I have to agree the Navy Jetetream was rather nice under the lights and made my night by doing the business! 45 Sqn have said they will get it right for the next one. Incidentally we have had offers of intent from 815 and 849 Sqns for some rotary participation for the next one
Cheers Phil
