Farnboro' 98 - What's this chopper?

Post by Cessna954 »

Just working my way through scanning some negatives from Farnboro' 98 and have come across these 'contraptions'. The info board next to the black chopper states that it's an Intora Firebird. But a quick bit of research shows the two machines on the left as being Intora Firebirds, including G-BXZN (far left). So what's the model and identity of the black machine?

My reading on the net suggests that the two Firebirds on the left of the shot are now with our armed forces. :ninja: Defence cuts, tah!
