Not displaying, but arriving before the flying display to go into the static I would say.

I'm sure a run and break or missed approach wouldn't be too much to ask!

I'm confused!! On Foxy Lady's Facebook page it states next sortie is Friday to Yeovilton. I have asked on the FBook page to clarify the below but had no response yet. So at the moment the Sea Vixen could come into VL Friday for a touch n go or fly through, then back to B'mouth and back to VL Saturday. Or she could not go to VL Friday and instead arrives on Saturday for static :dizzy:

Static aircraft need to arrive the day before a show so they can get barriers around them.

Apparently she is parking in the flying aircraft park. According to FB, leaving Bournemouth at 1430 on Saturday.

Gates shut at Yeovilton around 17:00. By the time she has arrived (if departing on time), she'll be in the static park for less than two hours! :hypno:

Better to fly in and land than just sit on the ground tho? I know I'd sooner have 30 secs of flypast than have a plane on the ground all day.

Foxy took off from B'mouth and went back into Yeovilton for a display and then went back to B'mouth again, landed around 1:30. I have no idea what's happening as the Facebook page is wrong most of the time, the above is fact though as I've just come back from Yeovilton.

Not sure what is happening with their Facebook. The Foxy Lady's Facebook says it is booked for Shoreham, and Shoreham have categorically denied they have it and to ignore the spurious comments on their Facebook.

The Facebook page, I am led to believe is run by a fan/enthusiast who works at Bournemouth Airport or it could be the Museum so most of what is posted with regards to movements is true as it's a simple case of "look out the window". A lot of what was said in the past turned out to be false for various reasons like the pilot being stuck in traffic or the aircraft going tech. The rest I guess comes from talking to Foxy's team.

Perhaps they are in talks with Shoreham, it's certainly a big line up for this years show so they might just be juggling some timings around to see if Foxy can fit in somewhere before making an announcement either way.

I did wonder whether the pilot stuck in traffic story was true or not, as someone on key forum was stating that they weren't aware of any flight on that Friday.

Who is running their FB page then ?

We strongly believe the page to be unofficial and masquerading as an official news outlet. Sadly it does no good for the operators to allow this to happen. Just for information, DS Aviation have not approached us this year offering the aircraft if indeed it is available!

Too true, there has been lots of conflicting information on Facebook and as you say isn't doing the credibility of DS Aviation any good if incorrect or misleading information is being put out.
The engineer, Paul Kingsbury has posted on there though, which makes me think that it is semi-official, but why on the other hand all the duff information?
They originally said, before it was back in the air that it was booked as flying for RIAT!

Interesting thread on Key from someone who was apparently working on her:

Edited to add: The FB post stating the display dates appears to have now gone.

They didn't say the py were flying at RIAT, they said they had requests by the public to go to RIAT, and whether they are going or not.

In that case they probably didn't  However, it would have been nice to have her at Fairford some year.
